Description
The clutch serves as the connection between the engine and the transmission. It enables the gradual transfer of engine power when the vehicle starts moving, disengages power during gear shifts, and prevents the engine from stalling when coming to a stop. When the clutch is fully engaged (pedal fully released), power from the engine is transmitted to the transmission, driving the wheels. Conversely, when the clutch is disengaged (pedal fully pressed), power from the engine is cut off from the transmission, allowing the engine to run without driving the wheels.
